| This time, it's really bad. I normally do not have any PMS symptoms. But I have cravings for grainy carbs such as crackers. And I already gave in for 3 days now. Fortunately, I do not have back ache etc, so I'm still able to work out normally. And another lucky thing is I eat them duriing the day, and I don't eat after 7pm, but seem like eating all day long. Last night, I told myself that I will drink water before I reach for them. but that didn't stick with my brain. I'm really upset with myself. The reason I don't like to eat them is I cannot stop if I have one. Plus I get tired too. I'm going to be strong tomorrow. .. How does eveyone stick with clean eating during PMS? |

| Tuna on a piece of rye crisp or a rice cake. If you want to slow down absorption of the carbs, add a little oil like almond butter. Helps me

| I get the same way!! Just realize that once in awhile it's okay...just don't over do it...Like you said, drink lots of water, esp. while you are having your snack, that way you won't intake so much and you won't feel as guilty, but you would have satisfied your cravings a bit. SW

| I am PMSing right this second and craving chocolate like Roseanne craves fast food! What I do (because I have to indulge a little bit with PMS) is I just keep some of the Hershey's miniatures around so when I want a chocolate fix, I have one tiny bar and I'm done. I learned a long time ago it's not the amount that cures the craving, just the fact you have it ![]() |

| We all crave food when pms'ing, I know I do BAD. If you're going to eat it - grab just 2 or 3 crackers, put the box away, and walk away from them. Don't ever sit down with the entire box in front of you cause you'll never stop. You have to leave the site of the crime If you do that, your less likely to get back up and go to the food again. |

| I also keep a stock of various flavors of sugar-free jello in the house. Feels like you're having a treat! Or, there are low-sodium rice cakes that will suffice, but keep it to only one or two. |
