I am going to be in my first figure competition this Saturday. I have a friend who has been competing in bodybuilding for many years helping me with everything. He is learning about the figure world so thats why Im getting some of you guys opinion. He wants me to take a diuretic called Aldactone Friday night before the show to help me shed excess water weight. I have researched this on the Internet and most web sites say that Aldatone works over a period of a week or so and will not produce immediate results. Do you guys think taking the diuretic the night before the show will help me shed most of my water retention??

How many mg's is it?...... You need to know that first. How much do weigh?

One the night before isn't going to help that much. Your best bet would be to start at least three day's before. But you need to take the right amount based on the mg's of the Aldactone and your current weight.

i agree with E.. i really don't see it helping much the night before... so i would start it 3 or so days before... but please please be careful diuretics aren't something to play around with..
