Ping Rapture Irons is hardly surprising to see Davis Love at the Golf Wholesale Store top of the leaderboard at the MCI Classic in Harbour town…he has won here four times before. And if Love has a secret about playing at Harbour Town, he's not telling anybody.

Love shot a five under par 66 to lead at the halfway mark, one shot in front of Masters runner up Ernie Els who shot 67 in the second round here

Steve Lowery fired the best of the day, a 7-under 64 and was three strokes off the lead with American Indian and former Jailbird Notah Begay and first-round leader Dan Forsman.

Masters winner Vijay Singh moved to within a shot of Love midway through the round. But three bogeys on the back nine left him slumbering six shots behind a rampant Davis Love.
