Default love to eat meat

Hi all, I am 28 years old house wife and love to eat meat. I like to cook high-fat meats such as sausage on my George Foreman grill because it seems to get rid of so much fat. I am interested in finding out just how well my little grill works! I can see the fat that drains out, but I can't seem to find any solid figures. Where can I find nutrition information for food cooked on a George Foreman grill? Please help.

Eating too much meat is not safe. Especially sausages are processed meat and bad for health. It may increase the risk of chronic diseases.

While you are eliminating a lot of the fat, there is still a lot of fat in meats, especially sausage. If you like sausage, try a healthier meat like turkey rather than beef and pork. Also try more lean cuts of beef as well as leaner meats like buffalo and ostrich. I'd also try eating more fish like salmon and tuna rather than just eating red meats.

yes I agree with you on that. Most of us are aware of the harmful effects of processed meats and yet we still eat a lot of them.

The red meat contains very high quantities of iron, when compared with plant origin foods. 100 grams of Liver contains 6000 mcgm of iron as against 325 mcgm in 100-gram carrots. Read further to explore information about the advantages of eating meat…

The phosphorus content present in meat gets much more easily absorbed than that present in cereals and legumes. This is owing to the fact that cereals and legumes contain phosphorus, usually in the form of phytic acid that must be hydrolyzed before absorption. Meat also serves as the main source for the intake of vitamin B12.
