| Hy guys, Lauren Brooks wrote a neat article on strength training. She uses kettlebells and named the article: "The Need to Train Like a Man - Especially if you are a Woman". The title interested me. I liked it so much, I put it on my website. http://www.archangelfitness.com/Train_Like_a_Man.html Let me know what you think. Is she nuts? |

| Overall, I like the article. I agree that women should incorporate low rep training in their fitness routines. Her information about hypertrophy is interesting too. However, to say that kettle bells are the key to fitness is pretty extreme. You are going to get the same results on a front squat whether you are holding 50 lbs in kettle bells, or 50 lbs in dumbbells. There isn't anything magical about kettle bells and they shouldn't replace other equipment, but be used in conjunction with other equipment to promote variety and freshness in a program.
