Default Itch, Itch, and Itch some more!

I'm not sure what it could be, but I think I am having a bit of a reaction from the sanitizer from the tanning beds at my gym...maybe...I hope it's nothing else. A friend of mine was telling me about a huge breakout of scabes when she was in hs and caught it. From the sound of it, my rash/reaction isn't that bad. I've got areas that are really really itchy, around my neck/ches, under my boobs, my stomach and insides of my arms. There aren't any bumps or swollen areas. It gets red after I scratch it, obviously. My "other" area has no probs and butt doesn't either. Plus if I had scabes, figured my bf would get it too. Anyone having about the same problem or know what it could be? I've switched my body wash and got a new poofy thing.

I was extremely itchy after I started tanning but it went away after the first week or so. Just keep using lots of lotion and drink lots of water. I use Uvavita with grapeseed and it works great.

If it were scabes small red bumps or lines appear on the body at sites where the female scabies mite has burrowed into the skin to lay her eggs. The areas most commonly affected include the hands (especially between the fingers), wrists, elbows, lower abdomen, and genitals. Since you don't have have any irratation in those area's I don't think it could be that.

It maybe a form of contact dermatitis. If it doesn't get better see a doctor, He'll give you a topical cream for it.

That's good to hear, although, it is a bit on the lower abdomen...only right around where the top of my underwear touch...the itching seems to be centralized around those types of areas...but nothing on the genitals, wrists, or between my fingers I gotta go to the doc anyways, think I have a swollen gland on the back of my neck. This is now the second time that it's flared up and told myself that I'd get it checked out if it did.
